[2026 Feb 16] Spring Festival (with kids)

It has been three years since I last spent the Spring Festival with my family, and I do not know when the next one will be.

As people get older, more and more concerns hide beneath the celebration, and the joy no longer feels pure. Still, it can appear happy on the surface.

For example, this was the first time I found the coin in a dumpling—and it was in the very first one I ate (which means extra luck this year). I also enjoyed some hometown winter activities with my nephew and niece—yes, on the frozen river.
